Time to catch up!

The Holidays came and went! We were busy visiting the families and enjoying Grace's first Christmas!

Grace Christmas 2007 (10 months old)

The New Year has been good to us! Our jobs are secure and going smoothly. Grace is growing like a weed. January was so busy. I made a trip to Virginia, while Wes and his friend Brian went to the Detroit Auto Show.

My nephew Cameron shooting a layup!

Grace learned to pull herself up and stand, the weekend of Feb. 9th. There has been no stopping her since.
Here is Grace with her friends Adam and Alex.

Sorry this posting is so haphazard, but that is the way it goes some times. Time is flying by and I realized I hadn't done an update in months.
Grace just absolutely adores her daddy. When he comes home from work she is all smiles. DaDa is still her favorite word. Although, Hi is a close second. Ma ma and bye are becoming more frequent.
1st Birthday post coming soon!

Grace Strikes a Pose!

Grace is moving all over the place now. She is so happy! She loves to smile, squeal, clap. Of lately, she likes to lay on her side and do leg lifts. Just a little fun after church.

December

The beginning of December has started out busy for the Boltons!
Wes has been busy with the hand bell choir and Christmas cantata practices and performances.
Grace has been busy learning to crawl. Wes calls it her terminator crawl (reference to the movie). She is also enjoying feeding herself some finger foods.

Lindsay and Paige visited us December 7-9th. We had a good time playing, shopping, eating out. The weekend went by too fast. We took a million pictures of the girls.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours. May God continue to bless us all.
Here, Grace is waving greetings to you....

Uncle Brian Visits

Brian, Wes' brother, came to visit the week of Thanksgiving. We got to spend some time with him on Tuesday and Wednesday, before he left for Georgia. He is getting ready to move out of Washington, DC and enjoy the peace and serenity of a smaller town. Grace enjoyed the visit. Uncle Brian always sings to her and she just loves it. He also has a cool phone with buttons., irresistible to her little fingers.

Paige's First Birthday!

Four Generations: Cara, Grace, Paige, Lindsay, Mom,and Grandma Leake

We traveled to Virginia to celebrate Paige's birthday. Her birthday is November 29th, the Fowlers were nice enough to celebrate early so we could join in the fun! Wes, Grace and I really enjoyed our visit. It had been quite a few months since we had been there. We saw Steve (my brother), my grandmother, parents and the Fowlers.
Sunday we celebrated Paige's 1st Birthday. Boy, has time gone fast. Paige is so cute, she smiles all the time. She loves her toys and flirting with people. Big brother Cameron helped Paige blow out her candle.

The girls, enjoying their first cake!

Grace and Paige had a good time together, we think anyway. They smiled at each other, tried to share pacifiers, pulled each others hair, and tried to poke eyes out. All the typical baby stuff. They were just fascinated with each other.

They had so many pictures taken of them this weekend you would have thought they were royalty. Ok, so they are to us.
Teething buddies

Reading birthday books...Paige and Lindsay

Grace loves to clap!

Thanks for the meal dad!
